Odoo Implementation Proposal for Charlie Driver

Introduction


The proposal is to move from the existing systems for websites, accounting and CRM into Odoo ERP. The Operations Hub would provide an end to end project to migrate existing data, configure and customise the Odoo platform to individual requirements. We would also provide training for the parts of the system that need to be used on a daily basis such as the Accounting app. As part of this proposal we would also provide ongoing user support for the use of Odoo via our dedicated helpdesk in Chester. 



Websites to Odoo

Recreating the current sites within Odoo would be highly recommended to leverage the full capacity of the system. This spans accross numerous features available through multiple apps within Odoo. Specifically customer engagement and management information relating to website interaction is very insightful with realtime views of website traffic, link tracking and much more. Whilst it does involve some initial effort, the ongoing benefits are reallly significant and due to the pricing model in Odoo it is likely that a saving can be made due to the removal of specific ongoing hosting costs.


Xero to Odoo

Although it's not the most exciting topic, the accounting app does everything you would expect from a modern accounting system and some more. Automation of processing for supplier invoices is a real time saver, and reconcilation of bank transactions in a similar way to Xero all helps towards making more time available for core business activity! The management information available in terms of typical financial reports is all there at a click. We would carry out migration of all existing customer and supplier information from Xero to Odoo which is something we are well experienced in. 


CRM, Marketing

We would recommend implementing CRM to manage customer engagement, create task reminders and follow up prompts. CRM can also be configured to automate specific actions based on the pipeline, for example to send an email based on a preset template at X interval. The email marketing app and marketing automation apps can also be configured for one off campains as well as automated journeys which trigger specific actions at predefined intervals. If this is something that would be useful we would include the initial setup as part of the implementation.


SEO

We have carried out a short SEO survey on each website as it stands which can be viewed by clicking the button below. Whilst we do not offer SEO as a paid service, we can provide some recommendations and implement changes in content on the websites accordingly.

As I have mentioned in the accompanying video, we are early on in our journey of implementing Odoo for customers and with that in mind we are finding our way in regard to pricing. We are also looking to get a number of successful projects completed to gain some feedback to pass to prospective clients. All of our costs are based on the time it takes to complete the setup. I've not included anything based on ongoing services at this stage, but we can of course provide options relating to this if that's something you want to look at. 


 

Scope:


Websites

Rebuilding of the existing three websites within Odoo, with a limited number of changes. 


Accounting

Migration of existing data from Xero, including chart of accounts, products/services, opening balances and bank integration. The timing of this is important and I would recommend this is done at the end of a VAT quarter. We would also export accounting data for the part of the financial year that has been completed in Xero to provide to your accountants at Year End. 


CRM, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, Other Odoo Apps

Initial setup of any other apps within the platform that you want to take advantage of.
